Our four pets (and we) were immediately comfortable with her at our meet and greet. She gave our pups lots of outside, supervised play time, and gave them baths, which was above and beyond. Rachel was also a thoughtful, considerate house sitter. Words can not define how well Rachel took care of our furry babies and our home. We had never left our boys with anyone but family before and they are not suited for a boarding environment. We learned about Rover after many phone calls and lots of research. That’s where we were lucky enough to find Rachel. Our large breed pups typically do not take quickly to strangers, but Rachel’s calm, assertive, and attentive demeanor won them (and us) over on the first meet and greet. We booked her for additional time before we left to go over their schedule and routines and to cover anything else I may have forgotten in the 8 page instruction booklet I typed up for this occasion. We booked her to nannie the pups and house sit for two weeks. She kept in touch often and sent pictures to help ease our separation anxiety from them. The confidence of knowing they were in good hands made our whole trip that much more rewarding. We came home to a clean house and clean yard which is amazing considering how muddy it was outside. Our big furry babies definitely enjoyed having Rachel stay. They still look for her when we ask “where is Rachel?” It melts our hearts. We will definitely be booking her again in the future and recommend her to any other pet parents out there.

Lady

We have an elderly Shepherd mix who is great on a leash -- until she sees another dog, at which time she barks and pulls relentlessly. Lady is big and of course is always on the lookout for an opportunity to bark/get excited, so one needs to be alert all the time.

Just meeting Rachel, I knew that she would be able to handle taking Lady for walks while we took a short vacation. Rachel connected with Lady right away, listened to my many instructions, and all was good. She communicated well before and after her visits, arrived on time, and made our pup happy! I recommend Rachel and will call on her again.

Rachel was so amazing watching our 2 dogs at our house while we were in Mexico this past week! We got multiple texts with updates every day with what they were doing and so many picture updates also! We are so so happy with how she took care of our house as well as the love she gave the boys :) One of our dogs normally gets very anxious while we’re away and he looked so happy having Rachel there. I felt so at ease while we were gone knowing they were being well taken of. We are using her again in February and would highly recommend her to anyone else!

Rachel handled several drop-ins and an overnight stay with my Belgian Malinois. Belgian Malinois are a challenging breed.
